Customizing Company Attendance
Unlock the secret to customizing employee attendance to align with your business's needs perfectly.
Discover how to tailor employee attendance to meet the unique demands of your business. Begin by navigating to the Attendance Module in the left-side menu. You'll find two powerful actions on the top bar in the module.
First, explore the Current Year and Year of Employment options, which provide distinct models to track Vacation, Personal, and Absent days.
🔴 Note: Remember that you can use either of the two options (Current Year, Year of Employment).
Current Year Attendance:
Choose this option when a company tracks employee attendance starting on January 1st and ending on December 31st.
This means that every January 1st, the attendance resets, and the employees will start with a fresh new year, with no absent days, no vacation days used, etc. (most standard and recommended by Pipehire)
Year of Employment Attendance:
Choose this option when a company tracks an employee's Attendance starting on the hired day. This means an employee gets hired on March 17th and resets again on March 17th of the following year.
Every March 17th, attendance resets, and the employees will start with a fresh new year on that particular day, with no absent days, no vacation days used, etc.
Next, delve into the heart of customization by clicking the "Attendance Customization" button in the top right corner. A modal window will unveil various options for Vacation Days, Personal Days, and Absent Days. Embrace the flexibility to choose what works best for your company.
Once you've fine-tuned each category, simply hit Save and Update Attendance. Watch as the system effortlessly updates Attendance for every employee, streamlining your operations.
For optimal results, remember to keep employment start dates up to date. Elevate your business efficiency today!
