"Reject Cleaning Applicant" Action: Simplify Your Selection Process
Have you ever wasted time reviewing applications that don’t meet the basic requirements for your business?
With our new "Reject Applicant" feature, you can automate and streamline your selection process, ensuring only candidates who meet your key criteria move forward.
How does it work?
Imagine that one of the fundamental requirements for hiring an employee must be eligible to work in the United States.
With this feature, you can mark that question as determinative. If the applicant responds that they are not eligible, the system will automatically reject their application and notify them that they cannot continue.
The applicant will not be able to proceed in the process, saving you time and allowing you to focus on candidates who truly meet your requirements.
Key Benefits
- Save time: Eliminate applications that don’t meet essential criteria initially.
- Process consistency: Ensure that all applicants are evaluated under the same standards.
- Improve candidate experience: Applicants receive an immediate response, reducing uncertainty and improving their perception of your company.
- Focus on what matters: Dedicate your time and resources to candidates who truly have potential for your business.
How to set it up?
Go to the Job Offer module.

Select the Job Offer you want to edit.

Select key questions: Identify the questions in your application form that are critical for the cleaning technician position.

Mark as rejection criteria: Configure the system to automatically reject applicants who do not meet those requirements.

Important: The system provides two options:
- Score the applicant as a C player and mark them as Rejected to reapply; it will not appear in the funnel.
- Score the applicant as a C player and show them in the funnel's Incompletes column.
Note: We recommend assigning a score to the question, even if it results in the applicant being rejected. This helps maintain consistency in your evaluation process and provides valuable data for future analysis.
Automatic prevention: After making the selection, the system will automatically prevent those applicants from advancing further in the process.
Example of use
- Requirement: Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Applicant’s response: "I am not eligible."
- System action: Automatic rejection and notification to the applicant.
- Result: The applicant cannot continue with the process, and your team focuses on candidates who do meet the requirements.
Conclusion
The "Reject Applicant" feature is a powerful tool to optimize your selection process. Not only does it help you save time and resources, but it also ensures that only the most suitable candidates move forward.
