How do you reject applicants/candidates so they cannot reapply for your job position again?
This tool is crucial in enabling you to manage and control who is reapplying for your open positions, ensuring you maintain a high standard of applicants.
There may be instances where you would prefer to avoid considering an applicant/candidate who had previously been interviewed or with whom you had a negative experience if they reapply for your job opening.
Note: Applicants will not receive automatic notifications regarding their rejection status. It’s essential to manually communicate this if your company’s policy requires informing candidates.
If you need to dismiss a prior candidate, the following steps will be helpful:
First, navigate the Funnel Module and examine the funnel for undesirable applicants/candidates.
Subsequently, position your mouse pointer over the desired candidate's name.
A "reject to reapply" button will appear after hovering over the candidate's card.
Clicking the button will transfer the applicant/candidate to a "rejected applicants/candidates" list.
Rest assured that all candidates on this list will be permanently barred from reapplying, and their email addresses will be confidently blocked from the system.
Please note that the system cannot block actions if the applicant or candidate utilizes a different email address during the application process.
We kindly advise that you take this into account to ensure that the application process is conducted appropriately and efficiently.
Suppose it becomes necessary to retract a previously issued rejection of an applicant or candidate. In that case, restoring the related email by enabling it once again within the system is possible.
You may take this action at your discretion if you find it to be the appropriate recourse in the given circumstances.
The applicant/candidate who has been unrejected will be placed at the same stage in the funnel.
